B&M Trick Shift is Ford type "F" reworked to their specs. It is designed to be used with asbestos type clutches, problem is there hasn't been asbestos in clutches since 1977. According to Borg Warner, Raybestos, Alto, and Trans-Go, this fluid has less holding power on "dynamic" type clutches, and can shorten the life of the transmission. Use a good quality Dexron III, and if you want firmer shifts at WOT, then use a Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, along with related upgrades. Last, don't use the fluid to try to change shift characteristics.
