Holy Sheepsh*t Batman!

You didn't by any chance get an opportunity to test one of those mods alone, did you?

I would be very interested in knowing what portion of your gain is attributable to the Walbro mod.

With heads and cam the pump probably made a difference, but I bet the tires made the biggest impact. Hookup makes an big difference. One of my chevy mags had a stock LS1 camaro going from 13.55@108.59 to 13.14@110.57 with tires and what amounts to the SLP suspension package. Either way congrats on the improvements!

EDIT: sorry for participating in the thread hijack

LOL I have not heard about this in years!

This used to be called the "Borla free mod" or some thing. used to be several places to find it and you cut a Hole in the "I" Pipe and one in the right tail pipe. then you connected them with a 1inch piece of pipe.

Then you had a poor mans Borla

yeah come to think of it i have heard of the 'poor mans borla"

let me clear up this before i cause confusion, my fuel pump was taking a dump in the high RPMs, and i had crappy hard street tires that would not hook at all, my sixty foot time was 2.50

i just needed those 2 peices to make my combo run at its potential.

but yes i did gain 2 seconds/10 mph with $450 in mods
