awsome cc503 dyno today

i finally fixed my being advanced prob. (opti bad) so dynoed it today it is the car in my sig the only thing ive added since sig. is lt4 KM!! and keep in mind this is on a bone stock tune!!!! through stock heads i P&P myself there flow #s where 270ish/210ish. ohh and cc503 cam, but anyways i decided to get a before and after tune dyno. so i did the pull and cam up with 360.1 rwhp at5131rpm ,402.6 rwtq at 3124rpm, and its not tuned and i have a big exhaust leaks at egr pipe. i ran it up to 6200 rpm but at 5100rpm it started loseing power fast must be from stock injectors i guess or tune? ohh and this is a mustang dyno i am very happy i am hoping to be 450hp 450 tq ish when injectors and tune.!!! my heads are obviously pretty awsome so i am VERRY HAPPY!!! any thoughts GUYS on why it lost power at 5100rpm?

Did you have Air/fuel ratio on the dyno? That would be useful info. scan the dyno graph and post it.

i have a similar setup as you...355 p+p heads, cc503, boltons, etc...mine has 42lb on it right now (dont ask...i bought it this way a few days ago from a friend of mine, long story.). I am swapping them out for svo 30lb's next week...those are some great flow numbers for home porting btw!! wish i had the materials to do that here

they all work great, honestly i dont remember the brand, i have the receipts from summit racing though. they would be overkill for your setup unless you are FI or dry shot of nitrous IMO... anyways, im trading them straight up to a local guy for a set of 30s

If you are looking for 450HP at the rear wheels (~515 flywheel, through your M6), you need at least a 36 #/HR injector. The 42's would be better. There is no problem with running an injector larger than you need, as long as the PCM has the correct flow constant programmed in.

With 360 rwHP, you were making ~415 HP at the flywheel, and on a tune that hasn't been optimized (say ~0.48 BSFC), that would correspond to the point at which your 24 #/HR (programmed as 24.9) injectors would have hit 100% duty cycle.

Seems almost pointless to "baseline" an engine with injectors that are too small, and with an exhaust leak.

With that cam and home ported heads you shouldnt be anywhere near 450/450rw. I dont want to be a ******** but your numbers seem way high.

As for your heads, who flowed them?
Have you had any experience with porting cylinder heads?

Whole thing kinda of seems too good to be true.

i just graduated from wyotech and i learned to port from one of the instructors who does heads for a living (Tim bowman). and i the #s seem high but this is what they are trust me i was amazed myself!!! but it has to be because of my heads i spent 4 weeks 5hours a day making the perfect for my setup and matching the ports/ and i flowed them (every port is within 5cfm) and the bench was a sf-600. i am also about to start porting other peoples heads(if anyne is interested. and i just bought my very own SF-600 flowbench!!! but i will post the grapg soon as i can figure out how to get it on her. thanks
