Re: Autometer gauge help!!

elect water temp: There is a plugged hole in the passenger side head, between #6/#8 that can be used for the sensor. Tight fit though. Its a mirror image of the one on the drivers side where the factory coolant temp (gauge) sensor is located

Mec oil pressure: There a plugged hole in the block right above the oil filter. Shoebox has a picture on his Tech Pages. I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge connected there.

air fuel gauge: First question is "why"? It not going to provide much more than a psychedelic light show. You need to splice into the purple wire between pin C8 of the PCM and the harness connector at the passenger side, or the purple/white whire between C20 and the drivers side.

trans temp: There's a plugged hole on the passenger side of the tranny case. Shoebox may have a pic of the location.

tach: White wire from pin A13 of the PCM is the output signal for the stock tach.

Re: Autometer gauge help!!

Shoebox has the complete wiring diagrams for the 95's along with the PCM connector pin-outs:

http://shbox.com/1/schematics_wiring.html

http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#1995_pcm_pinouts

Why use a JET fan switch? Why not get the PCM tuned for the tempertures you want? Or simply add a manual switch so you can turn the fans on whenever you want (also diagrams on Shoebox's pages). If you need yet another coolant temp sensor, I can show you how to splice it into the coolant return line from the back of the heads..... that's where I put an extra sensor.

Question on that one.. is the fitting you mentioned by the filter that you used 1/4" NPT? Looking at buying an autometer 3321 gauge today and I wanted to make sure it would work with what it has!

Also, did you put it in a gauge pod? Any issues with oil leaks on the back of those? My friend had an autoparts store (sunpro) cheaper gauge and had issues with it leaking.
