I have a 1994 lt1 camaro with an automatic trans.While I was driving today it wouldnt shift into second so I let go of the gas and then pressed it again and it shifted . Is this a mechanical issue or an electronic issue.Now I just parked it so I wouldnt mess anything up.Could it be a bad tps?Please help me with anything you might know or have had a similar experience.THANKS for reading

 

1does it do it all the time or just once
2is all the other gears there.
3 was u wot or cruising.
Could be mechanical or electronic. scan for codes if it does it all the time.

 

1.It barely started doing it today, i am going to drive it tomorrow to see if it still does
2.It shifted into 2nd dont know if it got into 3rd, i do know it got to 35 mph though
3.I was cruising

 

check the fluid with the car running and scan for codes. If it does not act up tommorrow hope it was a fluke.
