piston question

Ok this will probably sound stupid but are the pistons for the LT1 is the same as a gen 1 350 ? Also what is stock comp ratio.

no they are not. the lt1 piston is lighter. 10.5 to 1 compression.

The pistons are lighter which is part of the reason the crankshaft is balanced the way it is. Definately would hurt performance.
