ati balancer & bolt comming loose.
ok fellas im finished with the stroker i just finished a month ago and thanks to all of the replys to questions i posted its finished. now my problem is my ati balancer and arp bolt are comming loose i noticed it when my new belt started wearing. i removed the bolt , pressed the balancer back flush with the crank, took a baby tooth brush with brake clean and cleaned the threads in the crank in case there was any residue.there was not. i cleaned the arp bolt added red locktite and torqued bolt to 75 ftlbs. again bolt is loose when i rechecked after 150 miles . ati balancer is 0 balanced callies dragonslayer 3.875 crank 0 balanced and spec stags 3+ 0 balanced. i assembled everything correct but i did not do any machining . performance shop balanced crank ati balancer should be 0 balanced and spec clutch said they for sure 0 balanced clutch assembly. can not find problem. has any one had this problem? or can help on this one thanks.

My EAGLE stroker crank has two keyways, one for the timing chain gear key and a second one for the damper.
When I inquired with ATI I was told that some aftermarket cranks have a snout diameter that is too small and that won't allow a tight fit of their damper. I'm going with their 917274 for the engine I'm building; it's specifically for a Vette.

Man check that thing out really good! I went through the same thing with an aftermarket balancer on the stock crank! What was happening is the balancer was spinning on the crank and losening the bolt! Long story short it screwed up the crank now I'm finally getting around to rebuiling it after not driving it for a year and a half!
