ASR and SGS Switches
ASR and SGS Switches
This is probly a supid question but other then taking my car the a Dealership is there any other way to tell if my car had either of these switches on it? 1997 Camaro Z28. I have the build sheet for my car but i also have an extra switch wire under my dash and it has constant power to it any one have any ideas?
For ASR a quick way is to look at the number of brake lines going to the rear brakes. Two hoses from the body to the rear axle = ASR. The other way is one ABS only sensor in the differential or ABS/ASR has one sensor on each rear wheel. What's SGS?
SGS=Second Gear Start 97-02 camaros had a switch for that but i think it was for the Autos only
nope no huge ugly black box well that eliminates the ASR what about the SGS?? ne ideas on how i can tell if i have it or not?
there is a blank spot but i have a wire that has constant power to it behind my radio that has the same connector as the fog light but it has a little diff shape
