ASP pulleys squeal when let off WOT?

ASP pulleys squeal when let off WOT?

Is this a normal occurance....or is somthing wrong here?Thanks guys.

Shouldn't squeal. Sounds like the belt is a shade too big, and the tensioner is not able to hold it tight enough, or the tensioner is weak. There is an "indicator" on the tensioner to show if it is postioned correctly to provide enough tension. Have you checked it?

Nope I havn't checked the tensioner yet...where is that indicator located?

There is a spring housing behind the pulley. At the front of the top edge of the housing, there is a pointer. On the very top of the housing, there are 2 slots. The pointer should be in front of the slot towards the drivers side, or just at the beginning of the slot on the passenger side. If it is too loose, it will be toward the far side of the slot on the passenger side. That's the way I recall it.... haven't actually looked at it for a while.
