Arrrggghhhh @%@$^ Holley

I can't seem to gigure out my when my throttle pedal is released the blades say open about 1mm... and the bracket wont set on the idle screw... so instead of idling at 800 like it should... it will idle 1200-1400... if I rev the carand release of fthe pedal it will go down a bit to about 1000... but it's not seting on the idle screw... has anyone else had this problem? and how have you fixed it?

I have a holley and heard about this problem so i smeared a thin layer of oil around the inside where the blades close. I've never had it stick once.

Unhook your cruise control cable (from the t-body) and try it. I had to adjust my cable before mine would close.

Does it have alot of gunk around the blades? Id clean it real good and maybe take some real fine grit sand paper to where it closes..

I have that problem every now and then.. there should be a plastic cam on the passenger side of the carb. gently push it down and it wil unstick... you probably have some buildup

It could be the linkage adjustment interfearing with the idle and not the TB its self. I have the Holley 58mm TB, but I carefully adjusted the end-stop, linkage and TPS before I ran it. Also, I have the ASR servo to deal with which I adjusted first. Everything with my Holley 58mm works great! PM me if you have any questions.
