I used GM studs on mine for the windage tray. Don't know about the Arps. You'd be better off not asking only two people your question.

As long as they say they are for a sb chevy when you call to order and they know what you have, you should be fine. But you are planning on getting a line hone after this arent you? These load the caps differently so they distort and load the bearings different as well. Different world than bolts.

I know you can get studs with standoffs for a windage tray but I havent seen any lately. I think Milodon carries them.

Always best to let the guy doing the machine work order the parts.

Dan,

With the stock windage tray you need one extra long stud for the windage tray beyond what that kit gives you. You can get that and then call up ARP and buy a extra one from them. Or get the 134-5401 and put a Canton or other pan on it with the tray installed in the pan.

ok thats the answer i was looking for...i was planing on getting a canton anyways...but i see what you mean these are for the stock windage tray. and you need 3 of the studed ones for that, this only comes with 2, and the set you showed has no windage tray.....

The pics on summit aren't always of the exact parts. Trust me they are different.

I always run an aftermarket pan(Champ-JR manufacturing) with good baffling and windage tray/scraper - oil control is so very important. So definatly use the standard main kit(with align-hone of course) and that canton pan.
