arching all over?

I was lookin at the engine tonight and i found lots of arching

There was arching down at the coil area
Some was where the drivers side wires were loomed together
Some was at the boots on the drivers side (didnt look like it was going anywhere tho.. just flashing
And there was some on the passenger side skipping through the wires.

But as far as I know and I have checked several times.. none of the wires are burnt. In fact they are all brand new.

Think maybe my spark plugs arent gapped right? Any other ideas?

Google spark plug/plug wire corona effect or corona discharge. May explain what you saw.

yea that could explain it around the plug boots but it looked like it was arching from one wire to another or to something else in some placese.. but then again the car seems to be running fine it doesnt run rough or anything

so I pulled all the plug wires to put some tune up grease on everything.. Now i think im running on 7. I think its coming from the passenger side because I hear almost like a clacking noise over tehre. Anyone else concur on this? Its running rough like 7 and i think it might be one of the opti terminals arent pushed in all the way. I will go back to work on it early tomorrow morning i suppose. Any insight on if that would cause this dilemma would be nice

its probably corona. my car does this horribly, and I cant get rid of it. It idles rough, but as soon as you pick it up off idle it settles in. I dont know how to fix it, and I get knock retard all over at idle.

the tune up grease solved almost all of the arching.. none at the coil. none on the drivers side. Still a little on the passengers side but she runs fine now.. I found out why i was running ****ty too.. i crossed 3 and 5. Im ashamed of myself.
