Angry wtf is wrong with my car?p;z help

hey whats up everyone i would just like to say whats up and i bought my first camaro 2 weeks ago after 4 years of having mustang. its a 1993 bone stock z28 m6 w/m29 option117,000 miles but it is mint and has been babied .well the car has hesitation on idle to 2,000 rpm. sometimes it misses at above 5,000 but might be the rev limiter because i have a stock tach and it might not be giving a good reading. any way the stumble feels like the car is mising at idle- 2,000 when it hits 2,100 rpms it works fine and smooths itself out. it got worse yesterday when i replaced the wires because they were arching add the coil wire was arching bad. so i replaced them and the new wires were arching. the coil wire would actually glow blue in certain areas? i have no idea wheat i could be. why would these wires continue to arch there branf new? plz help
its not the o2's cause it runs the same when cold, and i pluged the egr same thing.new wires, recent plugs, airfilter is clean, relocated the iat in to the top of my k&n filter, fuel filter was supposedly changed when plugs were done. i have built all my mustang and my brothr is a good mechanic and were stumped. also there looks to be a small spark coming from the side of the coil itself and if the coil wire touches metal i archs worse thanks for ur rime ,ls1sucks

What brand of wires did you use? There also is a possibility you could have a bad coil or OPTI. Both of these parts are known to bad as well on the LT1's.

Then I would try a coil. Its cheaper then an Opti and easy to change.

You can get a new opti for 130 bucks. It sounds just like I went through and it is the opti. I changed it all and didn't need to. Replace the opti.
