anyone's radiator ever get a hole?

So, I went to dyno and on dyno had some small leaks of coolant. I am 95% sure it isnt from a hose connection and it is dripping slowly right under the radiator. Anything you guys would check? I will recheck all hoses tomorrow but I guess I will just buy a new radiator soon... nothing else makes sense right now.

Anyone have their radiator get a hole?

mine did. tiny pin size hole right near the radiator cap, very noticeable though since it was spraying out a tiny stream of coolant!

Find out where it is coming from first. My petcock/drain valve had a bad o-ring and was dripping, making me think I had a bad coolant leak. A 10 cent o-ring fixed the problem.

unfortunately the drip is forming at the middle of the bottom of the radiator, coming out of the frame of the car where the radiator sits.

It could be from the end of the radiator and following the support to the lowest point before it drips to the ground. Try a new petcock first. They are only a couple of dollars at cheap auto parts store.

Any doubt and take it out. Fill it and check it with it out. Pressurize it to find it. If you want a good price let me know. I have a wholesale account with 1800radiators.com

the easiest way to find leak is to pressurize the radiator with it full. Those kits are pretty cheap. once its pressurized you can look for leak without having engine running or hot.(easier on the hands lol)

Autozone has the radiator pressure tester in their loaner tools. Put a deposit down, and when you take it back, you get your money.

Pressured it up and there looks to be a crack just under the radiator cap. it is spurting out coolant just under the overflow hose on the outside of the radiator. Looks like I am glad I ordered the radiator! I will double check that it isnt the hose beore I pull her, but it is looking solved!
