Could be the crank position sensor. I'm no expert on it, but my friend had the exact same problems on his 96 cougar about two weeks ago.

I am thinking the CPS has something to do with it, but that doesn't explain why I have no fuel pressure and the pump doesn't prime...they are on different circuits as well as different relays which should keep one from affecting the other....

Thanks for the input so far.....anyone else?

Anyone else have any idea? The people over at the Jeep forum still haven't really told me anything I haven't already thought of....

Chris,
You said, your thinking it may be your computer... Did you try a different one from one of the local salvage yards? If you need any NEW parts, get a hold of me.. I have a friend at a local parts store and I can get you some really good prices bro.. By what I read from your link off the jeep forum.. It does sound like the PCM might be toast.. no spark, no fuel, not even the codes.. Fishy...
