1994 Jeep Wrangler in NY Lifted, 4.88's, 33" MTs $4750
I have an opportunity to buy back my 1972 Cutlass from my buddy I sold it to 5 years ago to buy this Jeep. Its been fun, but the Cutlass was my Grandfathers and has sentimental value.
Down to the details.
Its a Flame Red / Spice 1994 Jeep Wrangler. It has the 2.5 L 4cyl and the Ax5 manual transmission. It has ~71,500 miles on the original motor and transmission. I am asking $4750, and will deliver in the northeast for the right price.

It has also had all of its routine maintenance completed by me and the prior owner. I have reciepts for it all. It has been wheeled. Never anything stupid, and in the pics page there are some typical pics of what its seen.
What you need to know:
- The output shaft in the tranny makes some noise while freewheeling (ie depress the clutch at 60mph and it isnt silent) I have been driving it for a year like this and there has been no change in performance.
- The rear defroster has stopped working. I believe it needs a switch.
- It has some typical YJ rust on the tub on the drivers side just behind Jeep. There is a picture of it on my pictures page.
- It doesnt have the track bars. It flexes better without them. I have the stock ones if you want them.
- I have KC lights (150w) for it that I never put back after swapping bumpers. I wanted to mount them on the windshield and never did. For the right buyer/price I will do that for you.
- The rear brakes are all new. Everything was replaced, and they work great. It also has one new front caliper, which was sticking a while back. I just put new U joints in it (After all, its a lifted Jeep) so that the new buyer wont have to for a while. It got a new clutch at 53k, and a new starter and alternator in the past 2 years. Oh, and the front license plate has been mounted to the bumper again. The most recent pictures are of it wheeling in Massachusetts towards the bottom of the page (where you can see the newly added side steps), but all of the pics are less than a year old. Other than the addition of the steps, I have painted the wheels again... they were looking a little shabby.
It gets 16mpg around town or on the highway (again, not bad for a lifted Jeep)
Thats about it. I love my Jeeps, but just cant justify having 4 vehicles, and the costs associated with them all. I have been very up front with the problems. If you have any questions please feel free to email me:
