Anyone using Richmond spool in 10 bolt?

OK...At times my rear doesn't lock in posi. Yes, I know everyone wants to run out and drop $2000 on a 12 bolt, or a 9", but I've seen both of them come apart, too.
Is anyone running a Richmond mini spool in their 10 bolt?

You know that if you install a spool that your car will not be drivable on the street, right?

I know alot of people that run spools in street cars....They're not nearly as driveable, though.... They make cornering fun.

Well, what's enjoyable to one person is intolerable to another. But I'd say that a spool will be intolerable to 99.9%+ of the people on this board, and we're car crazy! Drive one before you do it, or you may be sadly disappointed.

One other thing, while the spool isn't likely to break, it won't make the ring and pinion any stronger either.

I'd have to agree with Rich.. spools can be a pain on the street IMO. One of my customers threw one in after he trashed his 12bolt posi, and while entertaining/cheap, in the long run I don't think its worth fatiguing axles and making the car want to oversteer every time you make turns

I'd get a eaton posi before I put a spool on a street car. Well how much do you drive it? For a race car fine get a spool and be done with it.

Thanks for the input guys. I've been around race cars my whole life, and I've driven plenty on the street with spools in them. I know how they act.
