Unhappy Anyone with TFS heads and ARP head studs??

Well I ran into another problem with my TFS head install. My 6-point ARP head stud nuts will not clear the valve spring seat on the bottom corner head studs. The washer barely fit on the stud, I had to angle it under the spring seat to get it on. There is no way to get that nut on the stud and even if i could I don't see how I could get a socket over the nut to tighten it down. I am using ARP part number 134-4001, 6-point nuts for a small block chevy. TFS recommends ARP part number 234-4301, 12-point nuts for a SBC. I am thinking that even the 12-point nuts are going to hit due to the fact that the diameter of those nuts is still going to be 5/8" so they aren't going to fit any better. Has anyone else run into this problem? Know anyways around it without me having to spend $150 on another set of head studs?

Common problem on any aftermarket head for a LT1...

The 12 points have a smaller size socket so you run into less problems but you can always take the springs off and clearance the spring seats to give you some more room.

Yup thats exactly why they recommend the 12 points. I got ahold of tech support today and learned why the 12-point work. New nuts should be here wednesday
