Anyone spun a crank hub?

OK, I'm doing a head/cam swap on my Z. On top of this, it's going to get 150HP sprayed on it. As most people already know, our crank/balancer hubs have no provision for a keyway. There are a few companies that sell hubs broached for keyways, and a few that make complete balancers with keyways.
My question is... Has anyone ever actually spun a hub on a normally aspirated LT1? I know blower cars put more stress on the hubs, because of the belt. As a point of interest, my machinist assures me that it wouldn't even matter if the hub spun a little, because the engine is internally balanced. His theory seems to make sense, but I'm not sure I'm ready to take that chance.

Cool

Just spun my second one off yesterday actually

I'm putting a keyway in it this weekend though, can't deal with driving around town looking for my balancer and hub

I welded one to the crank when I was running a blower. I now have a keyed unit
