Anyone running a 224/236 cam with stock heads?

My friend is finally getting around to paying back some money he owes me. Roughly $500 to be exact, almost enough for a cam package from Combination Motorsports . I have been looking at the 224/230 and 224/236 cams but I'm no expert. I will be running on stock heads at first, probably until next summer when I can get enough cash to have them ported. Does anyone have experience with running the 224/236 on stock heads? I want to put the bigger cam in for my future heads so I will eventually be making more power than if I went with the 224/230 but it needs to make good power and drive well on stock heads (this car is my daily driver). Will the 224/236 work well with stock heads or should I just hold back and get the 224/230? I will be switching to OBDI and the car will be tuned. Its a M6 with 3:42 gears. Let me hear some opinions and your experiences, some dyno numbers/track times would be nice to.

Thanks guys

Bryan

this cam is usually for nitrous/blower, are yu going this route, or having it ground on a 110-112 LSA? I have it with stock heads and it drives great. I plan on some type of power adder so it willl really wake the car up after I get one, but far as power without one, its not bad, it comes on real strong above 3000 rpm and below it feels like the stocker, with just a little less throttle response-probably from the higher powerband. IT has a slight lope and the cam surge is not bad, I only notice it at a very slow roll and sometimes at around 1500-1700 rpm. I don't have t tuned yet, so I am really not getting all the power, but so far it works great, and gas mileage is a little worse but not to noticable. THis is my daily driver which I drive many miles a day
