Anyone run Magnaflow 93444 down pipes and cat on stock RPO NB6 (California emissions) 1995 headers? i wanna convert to a single cat system so i can run a magnaflow catback on my 1995 trans am are the flanges the same and at the same angles? i plan on removing the cat on the 93444 setup 99% of the time but wanna have one to slip in during inspection plus i want the mandrel bent tubing

The manifolds are completely different, so you wouldn't be able to connect the single cat pipe to them. You would have to swap out the manifolds, too. Problem is, if you live in a state that cares, moving the position of the stock cats or changing the number of them is not allowed (actually, not allowed anywhere by federal law (if enforced) ). Perhaps you could get away with it, since 95s could be either way, but if they go by your VIN, they would know you were supposed to have two cats.

I had dual high flow cats that were rated higher than factory on a 97 that I sold to my Dad in California. He passed until he was randomly selected to come into the the California run station and failed visual. He had to put a factory setup back on...
