Anyone make a straight connection (instead of a 90) between the TB & MAF?

Are there any suppliers who make an adapter connecting the throttle body to MAF senso that is not a 90 degree elbow for the LT1/LT4?
I'm looking to connect the MAF straight out infront of the throttle body.

Thanks,
Kevin

Yes. Fernco part # 1056-33 3"x3" sewer pipe connector. $5 at your local hardware store, complete with two stainless clamps.

by going striaght to the tb does it help or is it just for looks. You would think it would help the air flow i suppose, but there could be a reason for the 90* bend, or not. Anyone know?

I have a straight one with my firehawk. Fernco is the way to go.

Any of the Firebird Ram-Air models were all straight, infact straight is better than the 90*; less piping losses.

I'm running a LT4 in a 69 Camaro and was looking at making an air clear to use with the cowl induction hood. My thought was mounting the MAF as close to the TB then making a 180 degree turn up and back. Then connect to an air box on top of the intake.

Injuneer - Did you use Fernco to connect to the TB?

I'm running a similar setup to Injuneer, The Fernco connects the TB to the MAF. You may have to soak the Fernco in some hot water for a minute or so to soften it up to make it easier to install on the TB.
