Anyone know how to use FreeScan?

Gonna scan my car tonight but I've never done any of this before. Is there FAQ sheet on FreeScan? Do I start the car, drive the car, just turn the key? etc.....

Also, will FreeScan read codes? I have an SES light that doesn't come on often so will FreeScan see this and tell me somethings wrong? How does this software work I guess. Thanks

I'm believe I remember mine reading codes. When you try it ...you'll see.....everything is pretty much self explanetory.

The PCM usually stores a code until it's cleared by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.

Yes it dumps codes. Use the Force Data button and select the Interact radial button.
