Anyone know about Callaway Honker Intakes

Hey guys. O just bought 3 complete Callaway Honker cold air kits w/ K&N filters for LT1 mass air f-bodies and impalas. I paid $100 Canadian for each....which is about $70 american. do you know how much these retail for? Im assuming around $275 American each. Also, were you guys impressed with the results?
thanks alot!

The Callaway Honker is identical to the Moroso CAI, which goes for about $US 170, so I doubt you could get more than that. It's an excellent product, as good as the K&N or SLP units. I used one for about 5 years. Callaway over-prices things.

I didn't know that Callaway made a model for the Impala, and I doubt that the Impala and F-Body are identical.

FWIW... I know that this is an old thread, but I just came in looking for info on the Honker after seeing this bad boy up in Daytona. Think it's a bit over-the-top for me, but now I'm curious about the other intake manifold alternatives that might be out there.

That intake manifold is a one-off (or maybe 1 of 2) custom creation. It is a plenum expansion, bolted to the top of a 94-97 (F-Body years) factory manifold. The construction is detailed here:
