are you using otvc wires? Will they work with LT4 valve covers? I agree they look nice, but will they be able to work with the wire looms? I am getting new ones simply because the stock ones look cheesy. I don't want a bling bling motor, but I don't want a crappy looking one either. i tried painting mine red, but the paint keeps chipping off. So I am ready for some composite ones now, or aluminum that shines! :-)

Re: anyone have these valve covers?

I used to have OTVC wires on my car, but when I swaped out the valve covers I went with a set of regular wires because the LT4 valve covers have special exteners and bolts that hold them in. The top bolts have small rubber gaskets under them to seal any leaks, and they are also much larger than the stock bolts. I didnt think that having the wires attached to these bolts would work out to well.

I think it's funny how different sellers use the same exact pictures.

I'm moving my alternator and running sheetmetal valve covers. I absoloutely hate the alternator being there.

hmm, so I can't use the composite LT4 valve covers with the over the valve cover wires? damnit, Is there some way to make it work anyway? do you have pics of the differences in the holddown of the valve cover?

This is exactly what I am doing as well. It doesn't really bother me about the alternator being there, its actually kinda nice if you have to change it at some point. I love the look of sheetmetal valve covers, and I don't like the way those ebay ones look really. I would settle for some Lt4 composite ones, but like stated..you cannot use them with OVTC wires, so that option is out the window.

actually, you can use over the valve cover wire looms with the composite valve covers, did you not click on the link posted earlier in this thread? Just thought I would broaden your options. :-)

Yeah I saw the pictures, but if he just has them bolted down to the rubber seals in the valve cover, I have a feeling its leaks.
