Due to some issues I am having with my aftermarket heads, and the way they were machined... I am in need of a measurement. If someone with a caliper could measure from the head dowel pin to the Intake flange corner it would be much appreciated, should be around 6" but I need measurement down to the .001". I need this to see exactly how much material should be on my head and how much was removed.

It's gonna be hard to tell as that machining was never very exact from the factory. I measured the two heads I have and they look to be different by a few thousands of an inch. Sorry, I don't have a dial caliper for exact numbers.

 

Do you have the heads off of the car right now? Even if you can get me a general ballpark it would be better than nothing...

 

I come up with appr. 6.095-6.100".
