Anyone have a PN for crank key?

I can't find the one that came out of mine so I am just going to buy a new one. If anyone could hook me up with the PN it would make it way easier at the dealership. Thanks!

Yes, there are crank keys (for the crank gear).

How about if you get a crank hub machined for a key?

Then you need an additional normal key.

Re: Anyone have a PN for crank key?

So since there is no key for the hub, doesn't it slip pver time?

The ballancer has 3 bolts (17 MM is what I used I think, might have been 3/4 ) They are offset so there is only one way it will go on. With the 3 bolts in there is NOWAY it can slip.

You might want to quit while you are ahead..... the crank hub can slip on the crankshaft snout. Its a problem when people try and put a blower pulley on it. Common "fix" is to machine an additional keyway into the crank, and double-key the damper hub. Keying the hub to the crank is also recommended when using a crank trigger wheel (e.g. - Electromotive SDI/Opti Eliminator, may it rest in peace), to prevent slippage from altering the timing. Electromotive's test showed that LT1 engines with as little as 350-400HP could experience slip.

"homonic" balancer???
