Anyone have front/rear main seal leaks when using an ATI damper or Eagle crank??
When I first put my motor together the front oil seal was leaking some. I'm using an ATI super damper. I replaced the seal, and now it doesn't leak as bad, but it's still seeping a little bit. This week the transmission had to come out for a rebuild, and the rear main seal is leaking. I'm using an Eagle forged 3.48" crank. All of the seals on this engine are brand new.
Is this something to be expected when using aftermarket stuff? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I really don't want my new motor leaking at all.

I've had the ATI Super Damper for 6 years now and no problems with the seals.

Interesting. I've heard of some guys buying two seals, and doubling up the springs on one. Maybe I'll try that.
