Anyone have a dyno chart of a 224/230 cam?

I've been searching and found a few threads with dyno numbers, but I'm looking for a chart so I can see where the torque is like. Trying to decide between a 2800 and 3200 converter.

I am wondering the same thing. I have been told though on 94's there is a stall wall where if you have higher then a 2800 stall and get a great launch the transmission wont shift out of first.

Check out this site www.chris96ws6.com It has good info and he is running a 224/230 cam. You can check my sig for some dyno charts, although my cam is a 218/230 on an m6, it can't be that far off. The torque curve should give you an idea what stall to use. Higher than 3000 stall I've heard you need an ob2 computer to cure the "stall wall". Check with either Ion at madz28 or Bryan at pcm4less. Hope this helps. On a side note, if you didn't buy a cam yet, check out Lloyd Elliots packages. His cams are much better than the off the shelf stuff. Just my .02

I'm actually running a standard gen1 350 small block with MAP TPI computer and LT1 heads/intake in an '88 TA. I "softly" ported the heads and they flow 221/180 at the useable lifts of this cam (non-roller version, only .480 lift). Shouldn't have a problem with any size stall as long as its streetable (either stall will be a Vigilante so it shouldn't be a problem, I have a 2800 in my garage and can get a 3200 for roughly the same price I can sell my 2800 for).

I was planning on going with an LE2 package not too long from now, but I may be selling the car after I finish it and focus on my '98 instead.

What power and mods did you have when you did have the cam?

Great, thanks for the graph. I'm going to go pick up the 3200 tonight and get the trans and motor mated again. With any luck/time, the car will be running by the weekend.

M6s are going to put down much better ###s compared to A4s.

Like I said, I wasn't looking for numbers, just an idea of what the torque curve...erm...flat line... started. Looks to be right around 3000 or a little higher, so a 3200 stall should work perfect.
