Anyone had a solid roller Nitrous cam ground?

Getting back on my car, again. I talked to Cam motions last year and they told me that I would have to have a custom core made for a solid roller with a nitrous grind on it. anyone else know this?
thanks

Do you have to have a custom core for a SR Nitrous grind cam? If not who do I talk to?

Also not clear what you want. The shop that built my engine spec'd a solid roller nitrous cam, and had it ground by Comp Cams. Nothing special that I am aware of, and the cost was no different than any other cam.

Yeah, Cams have to start with a core to be ground. According to the guy I talked to a Solid roller cam for a Lt1 would have to have a custom core made, not a shelf core, for a nitrous grind. He said the core by itself would be around 300 and another 200 or so for the grind. Maybey he didnt know what he was talking about. Like I said I called Cam motions

Why would a cam for a nitrous application have any different properties than a cam for an NA or forced induction operation?

A solid roller cam will experience higher valve train loadings than a hydraulic cam, so maybe there's an issue with the strength of the core, but solid rollers are so common, I doubt that any competent cam company would not know how to build one from one of their stock cores.
