Anyone ever hear of an aluminum LT1 block?

There is a company that is now making aluminum blocks for 3.8L turbo Regals. What's your take on an aluminum LT1 block? Will anyone ever produce them? Would anyone buy them?

This was asked not too long ago in another thread and the answer if I remember correctly was "no", nobody is producing an aluminum LT1 block. If it were me and I wanted an aluminum block setup I'd just chuck the LT1 for the more refined aluminum LS1 engine because LS1s and LS1 after-market parts are becoming so common-place. I have an LT1, but I do envy the LS1 engine!

No and probably not. Limited market = very expensive. Heck, all of the aftermarket or Bowtie Al blocke are very expensive. One produced in small enough numbers for the very limited LT1 market would be prohibitive.
