Anyone EVER benefit from LT4 km ??????

I have ran the LT1 km for awhile and I seen up to 9.9 degrees of knock
retard at 3/4 throttle on the scanmaster . Well i put the LT4 km in a month
ago and I have only seen 0.6 degrees of retard at WOT and that was only once. I searched and read a lot of posts from people on this board and from
what i got is that the LT4 km really doesnt help or makes knock retard
worse. Has anyone else ever benefited from the LT4 km ???? Thanks

Did wonders for me. But I had to run it since I went with roller rockers.

I don't really know. When I did my buildup, I just automatically figured the LT4 knock module into the equation. It should be commonly known that if you install headers or roller rockers you install install the LT4 k.m.

I have seen a lot of cases of false knock because the knock sensor was not properly torqued. If a KS is over TQ'ed it will be a lot more sensitive and often will cause false knock. If you add 92 octane and can rev the motor in neutral and still show a knock count odds are it is false knock and if cranked the KS in and not to the specified TQ you may have your answer.

I'm still getting 7-9 degrees of kr with the lt4, and it is false knock. I guess when I get it out in the spring I will check the torque.

In my previous car (stroked/nitroused '97 WS6), I was getting a ton of false knock. LT4 KM cleared that up. Worked like a charm.

You have a good chance of finding a cranked in KS and the source of your problems. Good luck
