I dont have the card with me but I believe I have the HL also my car only weighs about 200 more punds than a ZO6 I know he was racing to oh well Ill just find out times and hp when I go to track and get it dynoed

is that 493rwhp a typo???? if that is really how much power you are making then you should have easily murdered a Z06. they are only rated at 405hp and i think most only put down about 360 rwhp stock i have heard.

If i seen a 380 cammed and bolt on LS1 pull a Longtubed Zo6 there is no reason a 385rwhp LT1 shouldnt. nice numbers. I have the video too if anyone wants it.

Nice vids robbie you have the same problem I do TRACTION LOL so since I beat this ZO6 and lets say my car ways 200 lbs less than the average TA I wonder what my horse would be

Not to keep this subject going, but I hope with 493rwhp, if you cant beat a stock Z06 with runs about a 12.5 in the 1/4, that you have bike tires on your car or something. With 493rwhp (if thats even true) you should be dipping way down in the 11s if not into the tens. Either that or you dont know how to drive. Dont attack someone like that, if he beat a Z06 he beat a Z06, the numbers dont lie, unless your dads car is a freak, or your not telling us about the blower he has on it.

I got to be honest... Yes.. I do know how to drive.. I just cant pass him.. I do believe its a freak... If I passed a 125NOS LS1 camaro I think I am not driving that bad after all when he did 477rwhp...

My dads car is a freak... I have never ever seen a stock car run so hard... I honestly dont know.. all it has is intake.. balanger headers and X pipe... other than that!!! IT HAS STOCK MUFFLERS... it sounds mega loud though.. but he has nothing!! that is why I am so amazed...

I have firestones ez50... 285s

Anyways.. we always race from 80-150... and i just stay right behind.. last night I gained a bit on him.. Actually my car did 501 when I let it cooled down a bit!!! so no its no joke..

Actually my dad was a pro driver for awhile, but, hey..I do drive great... im still a bit off of him but I am still there... Im not wasting time between shifts.. the trick here is that I have to shift at 5400 due to lack of fuel and it will go down to 4000 and so and there is where I loose... As soon as i get my new injectors I will be able to step away from him when I start shifting at 6200... but anyways... I find it hard to believe that you beat a z06 so easily..

My pops has beat GT2s and vipers.. easily.. still no 500s vipers yet... but no problem with anything... 10s cars.. obviously on the street, not the track... If I go to the track I have no problem.. but the street is another matter...

Sounds like your running a 4.10 gear. At high speeds, those gears will bite you.

No Im running 3.42.. the thing is that due to lack of injectors I have to shift at 5400 and thus knocking my speed down on the next gear... for instance.. I shift from first to second and I drop to 3600-3700rpm... damn...

I am finding it hard to believe that you are having such a hard ime beating a mostly stock Z06. W/500 rwhp there are very few cars that should present any type of challenge for you and those 3:42 gears should make you FLY on the top end.

I to was having problems beating my Dads vette 'vert....turns out he redid the top end at DRM and didn't say anything, I would look into it.. Also, a vette w/ longtubes and stock exhaust is not very load, i promise!

I can assure you nothing has been done... all it has are tricks...

Everybody says the same thing.. it doesnt have anything... and it is an 01...

Its stock!!! I dont know man... its really hard... its really tough!!!

We'll see.. I will change to 3.73's and the injectors get here tommorrow I hope.. so let see..

the z06 does have better gearing and a better drag coefficient... its not impossible to believe it has an advantage on an 80-150mph blast.
