Anyone bought headers recently?
Anyone bought headers recently?
Hello everyone, my son and I are adding some horsepower to our 94 Trans Am. I did a search on header reviews and most of them are old. Has anyone bought LT1 headers recently? What brand did you buy and what do you think of them? How was the install? Anyone try the generic long tube headers on ebay? We're looking at something we can still buy new. Some of the headers that were out years ago are now discontinued. Thanks to anyone that responds.

After you put them in let me know how you like them. I am leaning toward the Pacesetter long tube and y-pipe. Probably will not get to it until July or August. Thanks

If you want to know how Kooks fit....look here....my review may be eight years old, but that will not change how current Kooks fit. The only minus is the cost.....but they did not disappoint.

Purchased a set of Pacesetter coated long tube headers and y-pipe from Summit. Headers are coming from the manufacturer in about two weeks. When they are installed I will give a review.

Pacesetters have been a popular 4th gen fbody header. I think the biggest downside is that they are not stainless steel, so they are eventually going to rust.. Having said that, they are much cheaper than the highly regarded stainless brands, such as Kooks. There are, or were, some cheap stainless alternatives available.
