hey i pulled out my lt1 and am putting a older model carb 350 in for now till i am done with my other engine my question is what did you do to make the passenger motor mount work the lt1 motor mounts will not work like an inche off but the drivers side is perfect. any help will work thanks kenny

I suspect that the people who have actually done SBC1 conversions in a 4th Gen are mostly hard-core racers. They probably solved the motor mount problem with a tubular K-member and custom mounts, they already have a high-rise hood to clear the carb, and they don't mind deleting the windshield wipers and cutting up the cowl to clear the distributor. I don't think its a popular approach for daily drivers, but I could be wrong.

Here's a SBC1 setup in a 4th Gen, but its a distributorless ignition, and fuel injection...... Just clears the stock SS hood.

what transmission are you going with? Me and my friend are throwin in an old school 350 in a 4th gen as well.
