Anybody running one of the new Comp XFI series cams?

Well, the guy doing my machine work went ahead and called in a custom cam. Going to be 230/230, about .600 lift (not exactly sure yet) on a 114. So we'll see how she does. I'm almost sure the lobes on this cam will be similar if not identical to the XFI series.

It would probably work better with a 6-8* split between the I&E duration,depending on your head flow,and a ICL on a 112*+4*.
Just a guess not knowing the details.

FastZ,

I'm actually more concerned about that stupid high LSA.... no need for a 114, that will kill your TQ.

Thanks for the input all. I don't know much about this stuff. I know that this cam made the optimum power on Engine Analyzer, which I could tell surprised my builder. Changing the LSA, lift or duration either made no change or dropped power a bit. This stuff is all a big mystery to me.

Are you using EAP?
If ya want-- and don't trust the answers-- PM me ALL the engine info and I will run it with a few of my set ups and see.

If it's telling you that your input data is bad.... In the real world the 114LSA is far from what you need.
