Anybody have or can take pics of their '93's headers/egr system?
Im trying to get my EGR system back into shape so that I can pass inspection. I have a set of RK sport headers, with the air tube located on the back tube instead of the front on the passenger side header. A buddy of mine thinks the 93's are set up like this too, so I was trying to get pics of a 93 car's EGR and AIR tbe hookups to see if I can get things to work. I thiink I have a set of '93 headers and dont realise it(bought them used).
I guess my real question is does the EGR tube on a '93 attach to the back of the intake manifold down low like it does on a '94 + car?

Yes, the AIR tube is in the rear on the passenger side. The drivers side pipe that screws into the headers has been disconituned from GM. I hope you have a good used one. My state (Maryland) will give me a waiver, since the parts are no longer available...As long as I show proof.

Wait...let me get this straight...are we essentially saying that since these parts are no longer available from GM, that at least Maryland (and presumably other states as well) are giving the green light to yank the AIR pump? Does this waiver waive you from emmissions requirements altogether, or just the presense of the AIR system?

This doesn't mean everyone can throw on a set of long tubes and do away with their cats, just because the pipes aren't available anymore.
