Almost at 161,000 and running stronger than ever. No major motor work yet, replacet both head gaskets when i got it w/ 119,000 miles back in 01. Probably spent more than what i paid for it in maintenance/aftermarket/upkeep parts though!

96,700 and still doing pretty good. Alternator, Water Pump, Opti, Thermostat all replaced over a year ago. Tranny could use some work I think... sounds like its starting to get sloppy.

Re: any1 over 130k on their Z?

Mine's the youngin' here

56,300 on it, owned it for 4 years, bought it with 41k. Original owner had the intake gasket replaced at 8k...other than that under warranty the car was clean, with only niggling little stuff. When I bought it the dealer put another intake gasket on it before I took delivery. In the last 4 years the power steering pump went at 47k, the A/C was recharged at 48k (seems not so cold again, but my uncle said there's no leaks in the system...), and today I just got it back with a new water pump (began dripping a small amount on start-up from the weep hole a few months back), new radiator hoses, thermostat, plugs and wires. This is the only maintenance I've done to it aside from differential and trannt fluids, and it didn't need any of it. The radiator hoses and thermostat were purely preventative, and seeing as how my uncle is retiring in another year I figured it was better him than me to do plugs and wires now

Original clutch, opti, brakes, everything except the tires and the PS and water pumps. A great, great car that will last me a long time. Its a sunny-day cruiser now, so with 3k miles per year being added on, I won't hit 100k until I have a 5th gen in the garage next to it someday

137k here and running like a champ. Replaced just about everything other that the bottom end on the motor and the stock trans has been long gone. The rear(knock on wood) is about the only thing I havent had to fix.

131,000 on my Z at 130,000 had to do headgaskets #7 cylinder blew. Have also done the usual things to it but still love the car. The T/A has 111,000 miles on it with no major repairs except for normal maintenance.

Re: any1 over 130k on their Z?

All y'all with high miles on the opti are asking for trouble. When that bearing goes in the back, you in for one heap of hurtin. Just think about it for a second. The cam turns the opti directly. Now when the bearing goes, where is the pressure from a locked up bearing gona be?

If you ever looked at a cap and rotor from a vehicle with half y'alls milage, you would be amazed at the amount of white flakey corrosion on the contacts of the cap and the rotor. This corrosion is zapping spark power and effecting your performance and fuel milage. Do yourselves a favor and install a new OEM opti if you have a lot of miles on the old one.

BTW just a little english lesson from the south. Y'all is singular, and All Y'all is plural.

Re: any1 over 130k on their Z?

157,000 miles here!!!

Replaced ALL the suspension bushings a couple thousand miles ago...
Let me tell everyone, if your car has over 120,000 miles, you should replace all the suspension bushings and your shocks/struts now! I could not believe how bad mine were, the handling was horrible, but you don't realize it because they go so slowly.
I replaced mine with polyurethane bushings and MAN you would not believe the difference!!! This baby will handle now!

Replaced the radiator at 120,000 mi. and usual wires/plugs (iridium plugs now and love them) does not use a drop of oil. One clutch change out.
Everything else is original/stock everything, I still get 28 to 30 miles per gal. on the highway.

These cars are like the "eveready bunny"

163,xxx and going here. She has been alright since i bought her with 143k 2 years ago. So far ive gone through 2 gear sets(the first one went out because of bad install) two clutches and alot of oil changes. Other than that i love my LT. These cars can sure take alot of abuse and keep on ticking. The engine in these things never cease to amaze me because they are pretty much rock solid. To bad i cant say the same for the rest of the car.
