I have the Hot Cam in my 396 Impala SS...Sounds good, drives damn good for a daily street driver, but like many said, you will be losing some, so if you are looking for track status, go bigger.

For us Impala guys, we need the low end torque, the Hot Cam makes its power up high, in a 350 that is. With the higher cubes, I think that it really brought the power range down into something that is much more usefull and good for the street.

P.S. I have the stock LT4 heads right now too. In a year or two, I will rip it all out, get the heads worked, and then step up to a bigger cam, but until then, I am having fun trying to keep tires on the car!!!
