Any ideas,

Either whats wrong, or how to disassemble the wiper system?
(1997 Camaro Z28)
Maybe some gear or lever slipped out of place?

The wipers work normally, but when I turn them off they go to the bottom of the wind shield, then the motion to sink them down occurs, but instead of sinking they raise back up till they are vertical on the windshield. Vertically on the windshield is the new "off" position.
