Any idea what may have caused this????
Any idea what may have caused this???? PICS INSIDE
This all started on a friday night, i was out at a local hangout with some friends just having a good time. A guy came up and asked if i wanted to head out for a run and i declined i was having a bad vibration in the rearend and was babying the car no spray no racing no nothing.(for about 2 months). Later on that night i go to leave, start the car and the idle is at like 2 and wont go down. I think nothing of it thinking the car is just cold and i drive about 75 yards to a gas station go to pull in and somones blocking the first entrance, i put the car in reverse back up put the car in first to pull around him and the car stallls out. I, thinking im an idiot and just stalled my car, try to crank it back up and it wont start i hold the gas to the floor and it starts but has the NASTIEST knock/tap/clank whatever you wanna call it. So being very confused on how this would happen out of nowhere I tow the car back to the shop and let it sit while I build/find a new motor. This was back in july. Well i pulled the motor out about a month ago and didnt touch it again until last night. Well I pulled the heads off and I dont even know how to explain what it looks like and im hoping someone here can shed some light on this for me.

Re: Any idea what may have caused this????
Well its obvious something snuck into cylinder 1 a bolt or nut would get pulverized so good luck finding the culprit...
This happened to a motorcycle engine when the screws came out of the butterfly on the carb and got sucked into the engine at high RPM. The cylinder head looked just like the one in the picture.
