Any hp advantage to a good 3 angle valvejob on stock lt1 heads?

Why are they chamfered and not fillet (rounded)?

What the valve job?

Do you mean a radius cutter vs set angles with a hard edge?

ZL1 if you want to step up to the plate with a setup let me know.

If he does not want to do it I have another car, building a bottom stock crank/rods. fresh trans and converter. full wt. street car A4 4.10

thats exactly what i mean...

I might just do that! i'll just have to hold off on the torque convertor for a while...

my local engine builder did some stuff to the heads, on the invoice it says

valve job/guides/mill 250$
radius cut 100$

any idea what exactly that means, beyond it just being a "valve job?"

yep, that is the valve job I have used for 3 yrs (since late 2004). That is when trevor Johnson starting doing my machine work. I have learned alot from that guy.
