Exclamation Raising shift points will or will gain me ET or MPH to be gained

I have a 95 Z28 Camaro Automatic with the entire HOT CAM KIT INSTALLED. Presently shifting at 5900RPM(first, second and third shift points) QUESTION * If i raise my shift points to 6300 thru 6500 RPM, will i gain any ET or MPH in the qtr mile.

FYI: I am running 3.73 rear gear with a 2500 vig stall converter with Ed Wright programing.

I don't think it would. That would depend on other mods you have. A stock motor with a lt4 hot cam kit is not gonna make peak power as a hotcam kit installed on a engine with ported and polished heads, 58mm TB, LT's...
