Alright guys, I just ordered up the cam. Any guess as to how much HP/Torque I should be putting out at the wheels? The tranny is a 700R4 and I'm still running the 10 bolt (for now).

11-1 compression 396 LT1
AFR LT4 210cc heads - 2.08 intake/1.6 exhaust. 64cc chambers. full "competition" port job.

Comp cams small base solid roller cam -
- 586 lift on the intake
- 613 lift on the exhaust
- duration 256/244
- 110 centerline

Edelbrock Victor Jr. single plane
"Mighty" Demon 750 carb

Any gestimates would be appreciated.

P.s I'll also be spraying between 250-300 also.

I would guess somewhere around 460 to the wheels. It's just guess tho. When are you going to be able to actually get some numebrs on your combo?

Once I come up with the money to pick up the heads,intake, and carb.

The goal is to have the motor done and back in the car by June/July at the latest.

So far, most of the people I've asked all say I'd be putting out somewher in the neighborhood of 450 at the whee;s. I hope so. That's been my goal for a long time now and it loos like I may just hit it after all

 

Geeze. Over 70 views and only 2 people have a guess? There must be other on this forum who have a similar set-up (minus the carb of coarse ) who'd be able to give me a roough idea. Anybody?
