Another question.

Im having some starting problems with the ol' Z! I know its not my opti or plug wires cause all have been change recently. Someone said that it could possible be the resistor on my key and that they have seen em go bad before. Well, whe I try to start the car you can hear her trying to fire up but it just wont. I dont think if it was the key, it wouldnt run over at all. I think it may be my fuel pump cause it wouldnt start but when my buddy pulled the throttle switch she started right up. I have had a fuel replaced not even a year ago. Are they known to go bad that quick? We are hooking a fuel gauge up to it today and checking it out.
