Another No Start Problem

I've done a search and all have the starter engauging. When I turn the key to the ON position, I get the dash lights. Turn the key to start it and nothing. I'm almost thinking the security system has something to do with it. Fuel pump also doesn't come on. Any thoughts?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check the clutch start switch first. Without that closing, the TD Relay won't pull in to engage the starter solenoid.

If that doesn't do it, ground the yellow/black lead of the TD relay. If that does work, there is something out of the ordinary with the BCM. Could be the security function however, the security light should be lit or blinking.

If that does not work, jump the yellow to the purple wire on the TD relay

If that doesn't do it, the ignition switch is fried.

Speedy . . . I've tried everything you suggested and came to the conclusion it's the ignition switch. So off to the shop it went this morning. Thanks for the help. I have a feeling this isn't going to be a cheap fix.

Well . . . Again I had to learn the hard way. I towed the car to the shop to fix the ignition cyl. I'll post what $650 got me when the car is finally done. The shop has had it since Thursday and won't be finished until Monday. The flatbed driver told me the shop is slow at the moment and it should be fixed by days end. My gut instinct told me not to have anyone but me do the work, BUT my gf said let them do it & I will drive & pick you up from work then take you to pick up the car after work. This way you don't have to get your hands dirty. I have a rule #1.

Rule #1 was: Don't listen to my brother. My gf now shares that that spot= with him.

I hate breaking rule #1 when I know better. Shame on me.

Let the flaming begain. End of rant.
