<--- Another LE2 Heads cam (joe overton cam) set up :)

So i finished putting my car together... and even though I havent gotten on it yet... im very happy with the power it has down low. Llyod was right when he said it'd still keep the power down low... Now i hope it makes as much up top as everyone else is getting... It still decently streetable... Not an every day driver but still meets the weekend driver requirements in my opinion. Cant wait to open it up..

Set up as far as stuff that affects Horsepower is:
355 cu in studded mains
lightweight forged stuff / balanced crank / 5.7 I beams
LE2 heads LE2.3 Cam
Cold air, Larger MAF ends & descreened
52mm Throttle body, port matched intake
1.6 Pro Mag Rockers, chromoly pushrods
Jet hot hooker long tubes, Dual Carsound High Flow Cats, Bolra Exhaust
CSI electric water pump
PCMforLESS Tune
1LE drive shaft
Underdrive pulley
TB bypass
Spec Stage II Clutch
T56 (with upgraded 3rd gear shift fork )

I am glad that you are happy with the set up.

The right complimenting parts and good tuning will go along way in making your car run like it should. Looks like you have a pretty good list there. Just make sure plug wires, exhaust leaks, leaks between MAF and TB, rocker adjustment, bad O2's, etc, etc, etc are not hurting you and you will have a strong running car.

Bret Bauer (SStrokerAce) has been doing my cams for about 2.5 years now so you probably have one of his. like mentioned, if it is a Comp cam, it is from him. The Joe O cams were from Erson.

OH sorry Bret. Liking the cam! I was a alittle worried at first because of the specs it had... Thought it might be somewhat unstreetable...

Yeah Llyod... still going through all my checks... dialed in my rockers a couple days ago because a couple were loose. Runs better now... Will pull the plugs and look at them after I run it hard to see what color they are.... Probably hook a wideband to the exhaust as well...
I do have a small exhaust leak... Never goes away.
Last time the car was running the O2's were operating properly..
But yeah cant wait to open her up...

Good to know man.... the specs are a little suprising at first but it's all getting everything right for the application and once you put it in and run it, that's a different story.

Yep I'm working on some more cams.... maybe in a while we will have some more updates to the exsisting cams and a few more to select from. With maybe a LE3.5 in there as well.

I'm curious to know what changed from your 2.2 cam to your 2.3 cam. Duration? Lift?
