Well i was loosening the bolts today just to get a feel for the situation and i noticed that in the stock manifolds on my car i have like to bolts on then a nut that looks like the bolt is in the header its like this on both sides is this normal also i was wondering my lt's have emissions hook up and if i hook them up can i still get them programmed out and not remove them?

 

Also does anybody know all the tools i will need to complete the header install??

floorjack, tall *** jackstands, blocks of wood, sawzall, socket sets, extensions, penetrating oil, wrenches, allen wrenches, gaskets, antiseize.

all i can think of right now. you can hook up your emissions stuff and have em programmed out, but whats the point then?
