Question Am i the only person with this problem?

I have fried my #8 cylinder wire (msd 8.5) and i cant seem to find anybody that would sell just the one replacement wire, i can only find the whole set. then i thought i could just buy wire and get the boots for it and just put it together myself, but i cant find the lt1 straight boot i can find the 90* one no problem. so what do i do guys? thanks for your help

I have a #8 factory wire.....though that doesn't help. Let me look around, I might have a straight boot I'd send you for nothing but shipping.

You can pull the boots off the burnt wires. It just takes a little elbow grease.

would the stock straight boot fit into my msn 8.5 mm wire cuz isnt the stock wire only 7 mm. and i looked at the boot that is still on the wire and i try to pull it off but it doesnt seem to budge is there a way to uncrimp the wire?
