Am I ok to drive to exhaust shop with open headers?

I just have the mac headers on they are going to need to fab up the y-pipe to fit right and finish up my exhaust. The exhaust shop is about 4 miles away.

From what I understand I should disconnect my o2 sensors on the way to the shop to keep them from getting messed up right??? Am I safe to drive over their without the heat messing up anything or fouling my o2's???

Go ahead and take the o2's out just to be safe. But I think a four mile trip would be fine with them in.

Your o2s wont foul up. Your plugs will if you leave the o2s connected. Just leave the o2s in and unplug them. You will be fine.

Open headers is the best sound in the world, enjoy!
